"Why did they need $6B to open the border? Coudnt they just leave it open, which is what they did?" Probably. But people had to be paid to transport and house illegals. And remember, part of this plot was to put enough illegal aliens in conservative districts to vote conservatives out. The Democrat Party should be declared to be an ongoing criminal enterprise under the RICO act.
