Wrong! In the realm of politics you know a man\woman and whether to support by his past statements as well as his past behavior like his wife.(You brought it up!)
Trump was tabloid fodder for decades for both business boldness and business failures. He was also not exactly mature and traditional in much of his personal life. He has not apologized for very much of it, outside of his attitude towards Fred, Jr.
The facts that many of RFK Jr.'s lefty friends will have nothing to do with him tells me he has turned around on some things. I brought up the ex-wife because I raised an eyebrow over it, and am giving an honest assessment, not "my HHS-secretary right or wrong".
By all means take past statements into consideration, on integrity if nothing else. I am giving him a chance for the same reason I gave ex-Dem Trump a chance. So far, so good.

We agree pretty much. I had pretty much the same view of Trump. I’ve said this before in his first term. I was very skeptical of him*. Since he was a New York Republican (sometimes a democrat!) I expected a Trump administration to be something like a Nelson Rockefeller administration. Barely tolerable but not Hellary!! To my surprise and pleasure he “out Reaganed” Reagan!
*Note Trump never expressed support for Cuba, Venezuela or Global Warming! Such support by anybody is a huge Red Flag of concern!!!.
