Hahaha...I admit to wishing someone would get this right. I have probably read the book 5-10 times. I watched the last version (”The Return”) and was disappointed.

I hated the interpretation. It made Odysseus seem like a broken, wimpy man, and I never got that from the book.

I hope this one is better.

the best Odyssey is the Kirk Douglas version, even though they change the story a bit.

You can believe Douglas is brave and full of tricks.

The original Captain Kirk of Star Trek is a similar character: When faced with a hopeless situation, he finds a way to survive. And he loves the ladies.
