The guy on the video YOU linked to said they had drones in the air at one point. He didn’t specify when. And I didn’t say anything about Turek being part of the security team. I said he was part of the group OVERSEEING security, meaning TPUSA guys who were supposed to hire and coordinate with the security contractors.
The guy in the video used a drone many weeks later to map the site so he could get more accurate measurements and check out things like bullet angle, distances, lines of sight, etc. The university would not give him permission to do that, so the drone operator flew the drone from outside the university. Kirk’s team couldn’t do things like that because it would jeopardize Turning Point being able to get permission to hold events on campuses.
I don’t think Turek had anything to do with overseeing security, hiring, or coordinating. Turning Point had other people for that.
