"The analysis is based on a swatch of fabric stained with blood that a U.S. soldier cut from the couch upon which Hitler shot himself. The researchers were able to confirm without a doubt that the blood came from Hitler by comparing the DNA found in it to DNA previously confirmed to have come from one of his relatives."
Serously, that couch was in the bunker in Russian occupied Berlin. How did a U.S. soldier get there and into the bunker? According to WP, Soviet forensicist Piotr Semenovsky investigated the blood stained couch. I call BS on an American soldier getting it from the Soviets.

If you'd read one of my other comments, the U.S. military was granted access to the bunker by the Russians. If you check British historian Mark Felton's YouTube Channel, he has videos and photos of the U.S. military entering the bunker, along with some of the video and photos they took inside.

Also Soviet forensicist Piotr Semenovsky’s work was done in 1946, when forensic and genetic testing didn’t exist.
