Cocaine, of course..
Most of the cocaine is grown in Columbia (none grown in Venezuela). Some transits Venezuela, and is then shipped on mainly to Europe via offshore islands. Some of the cocaine is then sent on to islands like Jamaica and onward to the US, some by land through Central America. According to the Trump’s own DEA report, less than 15% of cocaine comes to the US via Venezuela.
Fentanyl is mainly cooked up in Mexican towns near the border and enters by land. Some is smuggled through legal border crossings, some is simply passed through the gaps between the slats in The Big Beautiful Wall in lightly-patrolled areas — a very small packet contains enough fentanyl to kill every person in a mid-sized American city. It’s insanely potent stuff. Some is cooked up here using ingredients from China that arrives by mail(!), some comes over the border from Canada. But again, the great majority of the deadly stuff comes from Mexico. And it isn’t transported by the barrelful.
Back to the little boats. Most of the boats blown up were in the Pacific. Venezuela has no coastline on the Pacific. Those boats were launched from Columbia (or Ecuador or Mexico, depending on the location).
