We 100% agree.
Hummm, I didn't see the I vote FOR no more debt. in YOUR agreement, nor did I see
Massive US weapons sales to Taiwan ... or
Massive US weapons sales to the EU / Ukraine
in Worldtraveler once upon a time's comments.
Thus your final "We agree." in the last line of your comment is equivalent to Rooters or The Associated Presstitues selective reporting of the truth, and is Misdirection.
Shame on you.

That’s because no sane person votes for more debt. Pointing that out is like announcing that humans require oxygen. Technically true. Entirely useless to point out such an obvious thing.
When I mentioned massive US weapons sales to Taiwan and to the EU/Ukraine, it wasn’t random trivia. It was the obvious connection you skipped. Those sales generate revenue. Revenue reduces deficits. Reduced deficits slow debt growth. This is basic economics!
Talking about diminishing the nation’s debt, arms exports are one of the key areas where the US actually brings in large-scale money instead of lighting it on fire domestically.
So yes, that’s why I mentioned it.
I’m surprised I have to explain that to you.
An apt observation. The pretense of "we agree" coupled with "Hallelujah!" is odd. While selling armaments brings in profits for some, it is not profits for all, as in the nation at large.
The then called DOD ( now the Department of War ) offered testimony last March, noting much is necessary to be done to meet our own "preparedness."
"During the past quarter century, conflicts have taken a toll on U.S. military readiness. At the same, competition and threats posed by China, Russia, and other adversaries have increased."Notice what has happened to this nation in "the past quarter century." $ 5.7 trillion has ballooned to over $ 38 trillion.Military Readiness: Implementing GAO's Recommendations Can Help DOD Address Persistent Challenges Across Air, Sea, Ground, and Space Domains GAO, 12 March 2025

And interest alone on the national debt has more than doubled over "the past quarter century."

"The bill — which passed the Senate and is now awaiting the signature of U.S. President Donald Trump — includes the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI), under which the Pentagon buys military equipment from defense manufacturers and ships it to Ukraine."The war(s) continue and the tab is put on the national "credit card." SSDD.US Senate approves defense budget with $800 million in aid for Ukraine over two years New Voice of Ukraine, via MSN, 18 December 2025.
Shame on you.
That’s a classic Froggy trick. All of these zeepers are pretty good at laying on the BS, but Froggy takes it to another level. He gives the smarmiest used car salesmen a run for their money.
“What a load of crap!” is the frequent refrain in my head when reading a Froggy post.
