Too many manufacturers built their battery models on expected government regulations of emissions out of usage in the USA.

We have got to get out from the mindset of government forcing battery cars on people.

Thr technology has to become reliable and affordable on its own and the manufacturing process as well.

My gen 1 Dakota was reliable,affordable,and you could fix anything on it with basic tools and bad language. You can’t even find a 6 cylinder 4speed small pickup anymore. If they would build something like it I’d buy one

Exactly. It’s not a bad idea but it needs to develop slowly, with market conditions driving it and nothing else. If people don’t want it, so be it. Just like every other invention.
