Yeah, my eyes tripped and fell over that. I suppose he didn’t want to use something as trite as “Nazis” so tagging them Bolsheviks, brown rather than red ones, as if they were any sort of Bolsheviks...as if anyone remembers anyway.

The National SOCIALISTS were......wait for it......socialists. Fascism is a branch of socialism. Mussolini was always a man of the Left. Hitler even openly said that Commies make the best Nazis. They're not far apart at all. Their opposite are what the Nazis called "Reaktion". ie Western Democracy. We who believe in "liberal democracy" with guaranteed individual liberty and express limits on the power of government are the Right Wingers. As in the lyrics of the Horst Wessel Lied

Not a History Major, apparently.. The reason the Nazis rose to power was they were only thugs who could successfully fight the Bolshevist thugs on the streets of Germany.
Interestingly, the German Leftists called themselves Antifascists - Antifa. Same name/flag as our current crop of Leftist thugs.
