Just hold your breath the whole time.

(A main way they find you is CO2.)

The secondary sense is sight, with them looking for skin tones or dark colors. So a bright yellow long-sleeved shirt works wonders.

Third is detection of lactic acid and ammonia is sweat. If you drink a lot of water, this is greatly diluted.

Fourth is heat.

Assuming you can’t hold your breath for a very long time, a large blowing fan on your porch really helps disperse the CO2 and lactic acid/ammonia plumes (and dries your sweat).

Mosquitos also can’t fly well in wind and avoid the area for this reason.

In sum:

Fan
Long sleeved, loose clothing in some unnatural (for an animal) light color
drink a lot of water
