the socket bayonet, lower right. I believe that’s for a late Victorian era Martini-Henry. I’ve been looking for one of those for years

All one needs in England is a bench grinder (if they are still legal there) and some scrap metal. I made many a nice throwing knife out of old lawn mower blades. I still have them too.

I have many swords. I can’t tell if any of these match any in my collection. I have US military swords from the Civil War and earlier, European swords and Japanese Samurai swords. My most valuable is a Japanese Koto sword era katana sword likely from the 1300s and signed on the hilt by the maker, TSUNEKUNI. I would be majorly upset if the police seized them and threw them down on a concrete floor.
