You have a point. While most conservatives, libertarians, and alt-right types have abandoned the legacy media, their audience is now made up of true believers. Up through about 2000, there was a common ground in the legacy media, which put up a pretense of neutrality. The liberals and leftists still absorb the legacy media, which is 24-7 anti-Trump and anti-conservative. The incessant propaganda, even if their audience is no more than one-third of the nation (higher on the West Coast, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, and Northeast), motivates them to turn out in big numbers.
