This Amazon AI center is in Indiana farmland. Where they grow the corn subsidies that go into your gas tank. Amazon built here due to the high capacity powerlines, built in long ago rural electrification programs, paid for by the Feds.

I am having trouble understanding why the data centers don’t have to pay for their electricity use. If I were to add on machinery that used more electricity than I normally would use, I would have to pay for it. That is the way this world works, or use to.
In Richland parish, one of those huge data center is being built but two electrical generator plants are also being built next to it.
