I retired from a different state's university system as a worker bee a little over a decade ago. I had been working as a salaried employee for a couple of decades when I retired. I got a few nice pay raises along the way, but anything above 6% had to be approved by the BOT. Staffers don't get 50 to 100% pay raises even if they apply and get accepted for a better position.
I believe she got promoted this past year to be HIS exec asst.
