Shawn Bergstrand (Sponsor for TPUSA Pastors Summit) – Federal conviction for attempted coercion/enticement of a minor (2014 plea; online solicitation). 1-year prison, 5-year release (ended 2018); registered sex offender until 2030. Sponsored 2023 Nashville event; TPUSA defended as “repentance.”
Thomas A. Cimino – Multiple child molestation convictions (pre-2022; abused children aged 7–8). Hired by TPUSA advisor Rob McCoy (Godspeak Calvary Chapel) as youth leader 2022; removed after backlash. Civil suits ongoing.
