Three months after her husband, Charlie Kirk, was assassinated, Erika Kirk will open up about life, loss, the state of political discourse and more in a one-hour town hall event moderated by Bari Weiss, CBS News' editor-in-chief. The special will be broadcast on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the CBS television network and will stream later on Paramount+ and CBS News 24/7.
The event, filmed before a studio audience, will feature Kirk fielding questions from young evangelicals, prominent religious leaders, and figures across the political spectrum. The conversation will also focus on our country's political divide — and how we can find our way out.
Erika Kirk is the chairman and CEO of the Turning Point USA. The organization was founded by her late husband, a conservative political activist who was shot and killed on Sept. 10, 2025, while speaking before a crowd on the campus of Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.
"Like so many people around the world, I will never forget the moment that Erika Kirk forgave her husband's killer," said Weiss. "I am eager to speak to her — and thrilled to be doing so in front of a group of Americans who I know will elevate the conversation."
The town hall will be recorded in New York before an invited audience.

I hear ya! usually don’t comment on her because well, its not popular but from the moment she released that film production of her sobbing over Charlie’s casket which was one of the most unseemly things I’ve ever witnessed she gives me the creeps. Sorry but she just does.

There is a lot of conservatives who know the media has extreme bias an agenda They will try to brand someone a certain way for a reason. even though most of us know they do this, sometimes we all can succumb to this propaganda. So I can call someone out who is weak and cannot see through the bias. It’s a free country and I can call out weakness when I see it whether they have similar interest and thinking like I do or not.

If anyone attacks a grieving widow, they are a real scumbag.
However, if you go on show after show, take over the leadership role of one of the most influential conservative groups, openly discuss politics and policy, etc.... you are no longer just a grieving widow and you become fair game for commentary.
The big question to me will be....will she get asked about Candace in this townhall?
If not, that speaks volumes.
If so, what will she say? I have a hard time thinking that Bari Weiss of all people would ask her (or allow her to be asked) about Candace’s accusation of Israel killing Charlie without already knowing what she will say.
