Attended a live event last night, mostly Bach, Christmas Cantatas, so-called Coffee Cantatas, other pieces, and can attest: Three hundred years has not dimmed his brilliance.

When I was in Music History class some 50 years ago, the professor told us that Bach used to drink as much as 80 cups of coffee a day.

No wonder he wrote such energetic music!
