My other option was a 1980 Chevrolet Citation released in April 1979. It was a grand more expensive so I went with the Ford. It rusted quickly but ran fine, except for having to replace the clutch at 40,000 miles. Oh, and the rack and pinion had to be replaced around the same time. Drove it for maybe 80,000 miles and sold it for $400.00.
