Not really, the sea shores keep shifting by deposition and/or erosion.

Here is a church in Poland, build around 1500 over a mile away from the Baltic sea shore.

Yet, by now, there is just one wall standing, and even that would be gone, except that they make huge efforts to strengthen the shore under it.
Just simple shore erosion!
