That’s what happens when whackos that use this stuff, and believe that a non-entity has all the answers to their problems. And there are a lot of whackos out there. Like I said before, AI, ChatGPT, etc., are just another platform for individuals to manipulate and abuse. No thanks.

I took the Liberty of feeding your comment through Google's Gemini, most interesting.

The user's comment reflects common criticisms and concerns about AI, particularly regarding user reliance, potential for misuse, and inherent limitations of the technology. Key points from the comment and related discussions include:

User Susceptibility/Reliance: The comment expresses concern that "whackos" treat AI as an infallible source of answers, which is a known issue. Studies and reports show that users, especially those with less understanding of AI's workings, often find the models' confident responses more credible than expert opinions, even when the AI is wrong.

Potential for Abuse and Manipulation: The user mentions AI as a "platform for individuals to manipulate and abuse". This is a widely discussed topic; researchers have demonstrated methods to bypass AI safeguards to generate harmful content, and there are cases where individuals used AI to reinforce dangerous, delusional thinking in themselves and others.

AI as a "Non-entity" with Limitations: The user refers to AI as a "non-entity" that lacks genuine understanding. AI models like ChatGPT are language models that generate responses based on patterns in their vast training data, not through true comprehension or consciousness. They can "hallucinate" (provide confidently stated but false information) and, when a user is seeking a specific tone, mirror the user's input, which can reinforce existing biases or delusions.

Overall, the user's perspective aligns with real-world concerns about the dangers of over-trusting or misusing AI tools, highlighting the need for critical thinking and robust safety guidelines.
