I hope Elon tells the EU to shove it.
FU EU.
Tell them “OK you win” and flip the switch off.
I thought I saw a post last nite where Elon did just that. Cut EU off of X
“Tell them “OK you win” and flip the switch off.”
Yes indeedy. He could have a lot of fun at their expense.
How do they plan on enforcing this?
He’s going to tell them to take a hike. They’re backing themselves into a corner because the only option they’ll have is to BAN X - JUST LIKE THE CCP OR N. KOREA....good luck not looking like them.
They think they have jurisdiction over USA companies and free speech. It’s a toothless “do as we say” action. Ok, “no, what are you going to do about it?”.
They'll do it. The EU is now the USSR.
WOW
“Deceiving users with blue checkmarks, obscuring information on ads and shutting out researchers have no place online in the EU.”
How do they plan on enforcing this?
“Six ways to Sunday.....”
I think they're threatened by Reform, AfD and other "far-right" parties.
At least the USSR didn’t flood their satellite states with Third Worlders.
The charges are like DJT’s impeachments, all political. They want to censor what folks say within the EU — what they actually say even when out of the EU and what Xitter presents in the EU.
Basically, they want to control everything like the CCP does.
“They think they have jurisdiction over USA companies and free speech.”
X is also incorporated in many countries, so, yes, they can be fined in those countries.
Can't say the same for the EU and the Democrats (including RINOs) in USA.
The Soviets were “nationalist” and they were able to maintain their borders.
Within the Soviet Union itself, it was a little different as ethnic Russians moved all over the country displacing the locals.
Still causing problems in the former Soviet Republics as we speak...
