My dad did for years. I assume you had no problems. Before you do that you might check online to see if they have any coupons or deals and ask your local pharmacist if they are aware of any special coupons or deals. Off in the higher price drugs have some sort of help.
Best coupon I could find was only $100 which still leaves on the hook for $450
