From the pictures I’ve seen, it is pretty ugly. Hard to understand why anyone would want something like that built unless they were using it on a farm to store grain maybe. Unlikely if I would ever be in Chicago again,but if I was I wouldn’t visit that monstrosity & I doubt that there is anything inside I’d want to see either. Maybe some influential person in Chicago could pull some strings & get it torn down.
That will be incredibly expensive. There are flak towers left over from WWII still around in Germany. Similar construction, lots of steel reinforced concrete.
