I’ve been to Canada a number of times to attend academic conferences which were mostly enjoyable, except for occasional snarky comments about the US or about American politics. The most recent time I was in Canada was in 2016 before Trump was elected the first time. I may never set foot in the country again. Flying over at 35,000 feet is OK.
