False.
the richest church on the planet is too cheap to spend her money on those who need assistance these days.
False.
Got any more falsehoods to defecate onto the thread?
Your evidence for those assertons?
Got any proof what I said was false?
NGOs and other government programs have replaced traditional charities and many are run by thieves - prove that wrong.
I was stationed in San Vito Italy in the late 70s - my unit sponsored a Catholic orphanage run by an old priest and several nuns. The housing for the kids had leaky roofs, 6 of the 8 bathroom stalls didn’t work, and there were gaping holes where there should have been windows. We scraped the moss out of the roof joints and tarred it, plumbed the whole bathroom, and put windows in the holes during the 2-1/2 years I was there. The priest kept asking us to clean and varnish over the art work in the small sacristy, and got mad when we told him we wouldn’t do it until we had the kids’ quarters fixed up. We often had to buy our own supplies because the “church” wouldn’t put a dime into it - if it wasn’t covered by charitable donations, it didn’t get bought/done - the priest also said if the donations dried up, the orphanage would close. There were about 30 kids there and when we showed up, they’d come running out, huge smiles on their faces, and yelling “i pazzi Americani” (the crazy Americans). We’d play soccer with them for a half hour or so and then get to work.
So - tell me how much of it’s own money that “church” of yours spends. I’ve seen it first-hand...they are cheap and hoard their wealth and many works of art that only those in the Vatican ever get to see -and then, only the top dogs.
