The people I knew in Little Egg would consider anything south of Forked River to be South Jersey. The people there had no problem considering themselves Piney’s. Back in 1986 Tuckerton/Little Egg was the backwash of Ocean County now it is all grown up with grown up property taxes and a high general cost of living. And then there are the mosquitos and green heads...
We are near Lehighton, a bit south of Wallenpauck. Take care my Brother.
“Take care my Brother.” And you and yours as well.
Very familiar with the Jersey Shore and it’s mosquitos and “green heads” My inlaws had a place in Manahawkin on the bay. Crabbing was fantastic if you could stand the bugs. Greenies are just horrible, and the horse flies are even worse. You practically have to bathe in OFF. Windy days were better.
