Remember Trump is in year 10 since the Golden Escalator and most voters are not as ideologically pure or as intelligent as you are. Just consider though what will become of MAGA if the GOP loses the House come November. Trumps last two years will be spent fighting impeachments rather than his agenda.
And a Republican Senate might not have his back this time, seeing an opportunity to chuck Trump to the curb and let Vance run as the incumbent.
