Any that don’t watch TV. It’s been total saturation.
And a Republican Senate might not have his back this time, seeing an opportunity to chuck Trump to the curb and let Vance run as the incumbent.
Did anyone here the talk radio shows discussing this race? I only got to listen to a little bit but it was not discussed during the times I was listening or watching - on RAV the show that was on they were interviewing a candidate running against Ilhan Omar - no mention of this race. If it was mentioned, it must have been scant discussion vs. any urgency.
There was a time where a single race like this would have been the major discussion of not only the day of the election, but the weeks and days leading up to said election, on conservative media.
Why are politically savvy shows and politically savvy audiences seemingly so indifferent about, well, major political events such as *elections* anymore?
*hear
It’s irrelevant to the Left and their base of voters.
I mean, they elected a guy in Virginia to be their chief law enforcement officer who wanted political opponents and their children to be assassinated.
Winner will prob be the left candidate. Idk what’s up with Tennessee.
Good to hear- what time do the polls close?
Now
Any updates??
It will take a while
First reports coming in:
Matt Van Epps (R) 3,192 71.3%
Aftyn Behn (D) 1,190 23.9%
Fingers crossed!!! Any idea how many registered voters are in the district???
Over half of Montgomery County is now in. It’s the biggest county in the district, solidly Republican. Green won it by nearly 20 points in 2024.
Nobody in their right mind expected Van Epps to do nearly as well as Green.
Van Epps is currently up in Montgomery by.... 3 points.
My mistake.
Van Epps is DOWN BY 3 in solid-red Montgomery.
Fingers crossed!!! Any idea how many registered voters are in the district???
I do not.
With 19.6% in, the totals are now,
Matt Van Epps (R) 18,413
Aftyn Behn (D) 14,402
For those interested in facts, here are the results by county for the 2024 election in TN-7:
https://www.rightdatausa.com/election_results?y=2024&t=H&s=TN&d=07&r=N
I just saw with 24.8% of the votes in, that an additional 128,000 votes are expected.
Van Epps, 24,046 57.2%
Behn 17,330 41.2%
That’s 33000 votes with about a 1/5 of the precincts reporting...
Robertson, Davidson (city of Nashville), and Williamson Counties have yet to report.
