Is she going to overturn every case that relies on circumstantial evidence? The jury found that a reasonable inference from circumstantial evidence was that the defendant’s were guilty. The Judge can’t overrule a finding of fact.
They know they took the money from the government to provide services. They know that the services were not provided. What is circumstantial about that?
