As of December 22, 2025, the U.S. Department of Justice, FBI, and state agencies have announced results from several major coordinated operations targeting child sexual exploitation, production/distribution/possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sextortion, enticement, transportation of minors, and child sex trafficking (primarily under 18 U.S.C. §§ 2251–2252A, § 1591, § 2422–2423, § 875, etc.).
These operations represent intensified multi-agency surges beyond routine daily investigations. Victim services, including forensic interviews and medical/mental health referrals, were provided in coordination with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
