Michelea Ponce, works as a nurse at Enloe Health, a nonprofit healthcare system based in nearby Chico, CA, where she has held patient care roles.
On Monday, Ponce posted a video of herself confronting the woman as she was putting baby clothes on the shelves, demanding to know why she was wearing the shirt.
“Why are you taking my picture?” the older woman asks.
Ponce continues to demand to know why the woman is wearing the Kirk shirt, to which the worker replies that she is allowed to wear any red shirt.
The “anti-racist” activist repeatedly calls the woman “f-cking stupid” and accuses her of supporting a “racist.”

The employee is a sweet elderly woman who is restocking. They are allowed to wear any red shirt. The medical professional customer is quite hostile to her. This is the type of person who might be providing us health care.
