AFL’s brief explains that, among other serious errors:
New York revived Carroll’s 30-year-old claim through the Adult Survivors Act, an extraordinary, retroactive law that was effectively tailored to permit this lawsuit and target President Trump.
The court admitted decades-old, unverified accusations from other individuals despite major inconsistencies, political motives, and their highly prejudicial nature as evidence for the jury’s consideration.
The court wrongly excluded from the jury’s consideration relevant evidence about Carroll’s inconsistent testimony, her public claims about supposed DNA evidence that never materialized, and her late admission that political donors helped fund her case.
The jury delivered an inconsistent verdict, rejecting Carroll’s central claim of rape yet still imposing liability in a way that reflected bias rather than the evidence.
Despite these serious problems, the Second Circuit upheld the judgment.

In these 22 states, CAIR Action solicits donations, collects membership dues, and coordinates votes, all without the license or registration required of political nonprofits. In California, it is registered but only as an out-of-state nonprofit, which does not allow it to solicit funds. In the other states, there are no registrations.
According to the report, that makes CAIR Action an unlicensed interstate political-solicitation enterprise, operating “entirely outside the legal framework required for entities seeking funds across state lines.”

In the U.K., Is Islam Uber Alles?
In modern Britain, even the mildest statement of reality can be enough to trigger a punitive pile-on. The Telegraph reported yesterday that a teacher was sacked, and very nearly banned from working with children, because he told his primary-school pupils that the UK was a Christian country.
The anonymous teacher found himself being referred to his local child-protection board and even at the centre of a police investigation after he told Muslim children off for washing their feet in the sinks of school bathrooms. According to one child who made a complaint against the teacher, he reminded the children that this was not a religious school, and that they were free to attend an Islamic school a mile away if they wanted to. He apparently also told them that Britain is still a Christian state and pointed out that the King was head of the Church of England. This was followed up in the classroom by a lesson about the importance of British values and tolerance.
In response, the teacher was suspended by the school and ultimately sacked in March last year. A month later, he was referred to both the safeguarding board and the Metropolitan Police, for them to investigate an alleged hate crime. The police investigation was fortunately dropped, but the safeguarding board still decided to ban him from working with children in future. The safeguarding officer involved in the case managed to reach the conclusion that, by informing children that Islam was a minority religion in the UK, he had inflicted emotional harm. Thankfully, he was able to appeal the ban and won, and is now suing the local authority with the help of the Free Speech Union (FSU).

The Department of Homeland Security has reportedly signed a new deal to purchase six Boeing 737 planes that it will use for deportations, which the department claimed Wednesday will save American taxpayers $279 million.
The deal is worth nearly $140 million, sources told the Washington Post, and is being covered by some of the funds the department received in the One Big Beautiful Bill earlier this year.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement previously relied on charter planes to carry out deportation flights, but the new fleet is expected to help streamline the Trump administration’s mass deportations and save American taxpayer money.
“These planes will allow ICE to operate more effectively, including by using more efficient flight patterns,” Assistant DHS Secretary for Public Affairs Tricia McLaughlin posted on X. “President Trump and [Homeland Security] Secretary [Kristi] Noem are committed to quickly and efficiently getting criminal illegal aliens OUT of our country.”
The deal comes as the Trump administration aims to deport one million migrants by the end of the year, but border czar Tom Homan said there have been 579,000 removals so far, and 66,000 migrants are still being held in detention.

Polly Tommey, host of CHD.TV’s “Good Morning CHD,” has interviewed parents whose children were injured or killed as a result of an adverse reaction to the MMR vaccine. “The devastation this particular vaccine causes is catastrophic,” she said.
“We’ve seen so many children and adults who have had multiple MMRs and still had measles,” Tommey said. “Not only does the vaccine hardly work, it can and has killed children. I know because I’ve interviewed the parents … So much brain injury, life-altering gut issues, to mention a few.”
Tommey added that while measles “is not much fun,” its symptoms don’t last long, and that “with proper care and rest, children bounce back very quickly.”

Over in South Korea, the bill mandates that troop levels stay above 28,500 unless the Pentagon can convince Congress that deterrence against North Korea won’t suffer, allies have been consulted, and a full national security justification is provided.
