That no different that including the word "alleged" when referring to a criminal that has yet to be convicted in a court of law. These are magic words that serve to ward off evil spirits that occupy the bodies of lawyers and politicians.
It might seem stupid, but in the past, Free Republic has been sued over copyright violations.
