“The Center to Advance Security in America” submitted a request with the Manhattan and Bronx-focused Attorney Grievance Committee for the state to investigate James’ potentially “illegal and dishonest conduct” leading to the criminal charges.
“Fraud, misrepresentation, honesty and trustworthiness are all factors that the Rules of Professional Conduct when weighing whether to discipline an attorney. The Committee, therefore, should immediately investigate the allegations against James and, if the allegations are substantiated, she should be disciplined accordingly.”

The judge didn’t clear Letitia James, the charges were dismissed purely because the prosecutor lacked proper authority. That’s a technicality, not a finding of innocence. It’s ironic to hear “no kings” from the same crowd while politically powerful figures seem to get shielded by procedural loopholes and corrupt judges that ordinary people would never benefit from. This is exactly why so many feel justice isn’t applied equally. She should go to jail for mortgage and tax fraud.
