At root, do YOU want God to be fair in treating you?
Do you know what that would mean for you?

I would agree to send them back, but with special protection instituted in their own homeland that they not be deliberately mistreated for what their husband/father brought on himself.
At this point we do not know the whole picture. Is it possible that this fellow has been persuaded to risk his life to faithfully help our forces in combating oppositional Talibaans on the basis of our forces promising without fail to protect and save him from his countrymen's wrath? And did he and his wife have to leave their country or face death their when "we" (Biden's military) did not have the guts as a nation to see it through? Did "we" fail to save, shepherd, and adapt his stay here to find meaning in our society? Or was he our enemy from the get-go?
In his case, we haven't been informed, we don't know. But we ought to find out before agreeing about the steps to be taken, rather than act as if we-all were of the same criminal mind as him and not purveyors of life, liberty, and justice for all within our boundaries, citizens or not.
We as a nation fully intend to kill their father and husband. It would be complete insanity to leave them in the country nurturing a blood feud to seek revenge.
Your argument is why we don’t make preachers into national leaders. That loving nurturing feminine compassionate instinct is misguided. It seems like the kind thing to do right now. But what is actually happening is that misguided compassion is simply ensuring the future murder of some innocent five-year-old American out there today…. 15 years from now. Men know sometimes you have to make a hard choice for the well being of your own people.
And then there is the object lesson to consider. Other immigrant families need to learn that they have to take notice when one of the family members is going off the rails.
