Research indicates it can decrease the risk of heart attack, stroke, and death from cardiovascular events in individuals with obesity and cardiovascular disease, even in those without diabetes. While these benefits are promising, it may have side effects and is not a replacement for other heart failure treatments.

I’m glad it is helping you. But beware. Semaglutide drugs can cause such things as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, bloating, and burping are frequent. More serious effects are Pancreatitis, inflammation of the pancreas, acute gallbladder disease, acute kidney injury, blurred vision, and hypoglycemia. More severe allergic reactions can include swelling or difficulty breathing, require immediate medical attention. Anaphylaxis can cause death and it sneaks up on you especially with congestive heart disease.

You probably have discussed these problems with your doc, so good luck with your use.
