Thanksgiving represents conquering America.

I believe it represents a time when our earliest settlers faced death on all sides, and put their absolute faith in God to pull them through. God delivered, in part by bringing them together with the native peoples at the time. It is a “thank you” to God, and all that were a part of His plan to protect them and allow them to grow in a place where they were free to worship Him.

I love Thanksgiving, and pray it will never be cancelled or erased. And that it will serve as a tribute to God, and His children of all cultures. Shame on those who choose to forget it.
