but one thing for sure Populist Presidents have short political lifespans as well as the movements they foster as they have no long term sustainable vision for the future, Teddy Roosevelt was Populist President and did great things like Trump but both did not last long or did their movements.

Trump has been in the arena for a decade now. He’ll leave office in January 2029. How much longer is your expectation level?
Also, if the GOP and democrats think they’re going back to the Bush/Clinton/Obama politics from 1992-2016, you’ll see a complete “tune out” from huge swaths of the electorate.
Your dismissal of Trump, while “dancing on the grave” of the MAGA movement is just a little bit premature.
No MAGA is based on one man and that is Trump just as it was under Teddy Roosevelt when he ran...That is why Teddy started the Bull Moose party and ran as an Independent which flopped. Trump was asked about JD Vance by Reporters on day 1 of assuming the Presidency and he told them he was not endorsing him... I suspect Trump to pick Don Jr to run over Vance but both will flop. I fear Socialism will be the primary political ideology to be on he ballot in 2028...People love free stuff and the economy will be a train wreck as MAGA fizzles out as it is based on a single man’s persona.
