I’m not interested in judging the woman for her “sins”. If she really has repented, found Jesus, etc., that’s great, but her past demonstration of very poor judgement puts her character in doubt. Before being on a Board that makes policy, etc., for others, she needs to show that she has achieved maturity, strong character, solid judgement, and the ability to conduct herself with decorum and what people call “class”. Any other little slips since 13 years ago?

But if you aren’t wanting something you did in a public media setting to be rediscovered and attached to you...probably going into public service is not a great idea.
I also don’t know how you “unresign” after resigning...don’t think you can do that, either.
