I’ve always believed that rotisserie chicken is one of the best things anyone can buy - the chicken is already cooked, delicious, the meat is abundant and - is has a whole host of uses! I pick the bones clean from those chickens.
We make chicken sandwiches with the warm chicken, a Sunday treat after church, we look forward to it all week.
The only rotisserie chicken I won’t buy is the one from CostCo - and that’s because my dogs won’t touch it. My dogs will do back flips for rotisserie chicken from Walmart, Sprouts, Ralphs or Whole Foods, but won’t touch the ones from CostCo. My husband said if the dogs won’t touch it, neither would he, tried twice - and I’ve never bought it since.
“It’s also a problem because most of that waste ends up in landfills,“
So your saying that most of it becomes compost.
Isn’t that what we SHOULD be doing with the leftovers, then?
It is a great convienience, but I do need a week or two between purchases!
