I worked for a very well known hospital for 20+ years. A good percentage of the physicians,surgeons and researchers there were Indian. Very intelligent indeed. Having spent a little time in India I could accept that there are a billion people there with IQs in the vicinity of 80-85. But I know for a fact that there are very intelligent ones as well.

In any society, there are people who operate a gradient or two above what their societal’s average is. Much can be accomplished through simple hard work as opposed to being gifted with natural ability.
