Leftist tend not to believe in God, oaths mean little to them. One of the core values of Progressivism is rejecting God and substituting government or self as “god”.
Unless there is a enforcement mechanism, and oath means nothing to them. With belief in God, there is belief in enforcement, in this world or the next.

Oaths mean nothing to democommies. Absolutely nothing. You must know this. I would venture to say that oaths mean nothing to ~70% of the members of Congress (and that's likely being generous).
