My nephew was a staffer in DC for a congressional member. He claimed that calls to their district offices were far more effective than those to DC.
I think he’s right. Prior to a cruise our Passports weren’t showing up. Cruise three days away. Panic. I called the local office for our DC Rep, and the next day they were delivered to the house.
