We stopped in Sorrento during a tour of Amalfi. If ever we go back, I would rather stay there than Naples. Much less busy and more picturesque.
The regional train is really handy to get around.

From Sorrento you can catch a ferry to go to Amalfi, Position, Naples and Capri.
Or you can take the train to Pompeii and Naples.
Then there is a bus to take you around the peninsula.
IF you dare you can also rent scooters if you don’t value your life.
The only place we didn’t go was the island east of Naples. I can’t remember the name, Starts with an I.
Everyone says that it is even nicer than Capri and not as expensive.
I would like to go back and stay on Capri for a few days.
We only spent a few hours there. Not enough.
We are considering going to Milan next year.
Jet blue just started flying direct from Boston.
My wife wants to go to the Cinque Terra and I would like to go to Lake Como. Those are both a quick train ride from Milan. Spend a few days in Milan too.
See the Last Supper, Dump, etc.
Darn auto correct.
I meant Position.
Beautiful place, but quite a tourist trap.
The only place where we really felt like we got ripped off for a meal.
Then in Milan we would like to see the Dumo.
Not the Dump.
It did it AGAIN.
Positono.
