“Generally around the mid-70’s and below are considered somewhat “simple” machines.”

My 2009 Frontier feels marvelously antique and simple compared to my outdated 2016 F150. I don’t want anything newer. Wife’s newer Honda is a POS. Terrible throttle response and a dead battery meant a tow using skates because the wheels lock. Tow guy couldn’t even jump it.

The newer, the more computers/sensors controlling various functions of the vehicle. Just one more thing that’s been “stolen” from the people.... the ability to easily repair our own transportation. Control, control, control. Disgusting.
