Globalism , Free Trade, legal immigration, worker replacement have all but killed capitalism. This makes socialism inevitable.n
Actually, those things helped make our 1% class super rich, much richer as a percentage of the nation’s wealth than ever before. Capitalism worked great, for them.
What has failed, is the theory of trickle down economics. Companies with billions of dollars in pure profit per quarter, laying off tens of thousands of people at the same time.
All so the billionaire class, no longer hiding the shadows, can flaunt their arrogance and excessive lifestyles in front of us. People are sick of it. Even people with jobs can no longer afford simple vacations.
I’m certainly no fan of socialism, as we’ll end up with the same greedy bastards in charge of it, and it will ultimately be even worse for the average guy. But people are fed up with these guys at the top now, as it’s become clear they don’t give a damn about anyone but themselves.
