The price of meat at Walmart’s near us are TERRIBLE compared to every other grocery store. And its not even close.
I've discovered that each grocery store has its own prices for various items, so I'll go to one of four grocery stores for different things: chicken at one, hamburger at another, various juices at another, other miscellaneous items at one or the other. Which store I go to depends on what I'm after. It's a pain, but that's the world we live in now.

I do the same thing.
I get alot of the Staples cheap at LIDLE.....but I dont like their meat....which is also strangly expsnive most times.
So I got to HArris Teeter or Food Lion (Norht Carolina) for meat..and whatever esle is on sale.
And when I shop...I ONLY buy meat that is on sale....along with just about everything else.
If I am strict about it...then by my estimation I save 15%-20% overall in a year on food expenses by simply not buy anything at full price.
