I keep a personal chart of my Top 10 favorite songs. As of November 1, my new Number One song is Tonight, You Belong to Me by Gene Austin. It knocked off Golden Sands by Dan Ritchie's Orchestra, which had been sitting at the top since July 11 and is now #3. At #10 is Dream a Little Dream of Me, by Wayne King, a song that I never get tired of hearing even after playing it hundreds of times.

I think the Mamas and Poppas did “Dream a little dream for me”. I liked that song.

I like to sing my favorites (if I can sing them well enough) at my gigs. My current favorite is “Sharing the Night Together” by Doctor Hook and the Medicine show. Really nice arrangement and sentimental vocals. It’s going over well with the crowd. Dr. Hook didn’t write it, though he did write a lot of their stuff.
