If you can, hang onto your vinyls, some of them may be worth quite a bit. I have a pristine album of King Crimson’s first album, “In the Court of the Crimson King”. The album cover alone is worth $400.

The most I ever paid for a record was Remember Pearl Harbor by Carson Robison, which set me back $30. In the late 1980s I purchased He Hit Me, which was released by the Crystals in 1962 but quickly withdrawn. The store charged about $5 because it was a rarity, but I recorded it on cassette and then sold it for $30.
