It was absolutely manufactured. I was one of several hundred thousand people there. There were well over a million at the speech. It was a 45 minute walk to the Capitol. We were close enough to smell the teargas and fell the concussions from the flash bangs the pathetic Capitol Police were randomly lobbing into the crowd.
They were trying to incite a riot. We weren’t really playing along. A few people clambered up the steps and gasp…waved flags. They were left along by the pathetic Capitol Police.
After a few hours with the loud and angry peaceful crowd we left. On the way to the car we heard someone broke a window and how that wasn’t right that someone did that.
Even being 100 feet from the door we had no idea the worst day in American history was taking place.
